The Conservation Trust

The Conservation Trust for North Carolina (CTNC) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit land trust and service center.  Established in 1991, CTNC's mission is unique.  Working cooperatively with private landowners and land trusts, CTNC helps communities integrate economic growth with protection of important natural resources.

CTNC's small staff and statewide network of conservation and preservation professionals efficiently deliver difficult-to-obtain professional services throughout North Carolina.  Dedicated to preserving our state's natural and cultural assets, CTNC educates thousands of citizens about readily available ways to achieve financial gain and resource protection.  Their collaborative approach to land conservation has been well-received by diverse audiences and has helped build constituencies that support protection of important natural resources.
