The Conservation Fund

The Conservation Fund is a national, nonprofit organization that seeks sustainable conservation solutions for the 21st century, emphasizing the integration of economic and environmental goals.  Through real estate transactions, demonstration projects, education, and community-based activities, the Fund designs long-term innovative measures to conserve land and water resources.  A primary goal of the Conservation Fund is to promote sustainable development in communities nationwide while retaining and enhancing their cultural heritage and sense of place.  This means creating or expanding a community's economic base without destroying its natural or historical surroundings.  Since its inception, the Fund has forged partnerships to protect America's irreplaceable outdoor heritage, a tangible legacy for future generations.
