Guided
Garden Tours
- Enjoy
a one-hour guided tour of the Arboretum’s core garden areas.
Features include native plants, new cultivars that grow well in
mountain gardens, streamside plants, a profusion of flowering container
gardens and the Quilt Garden, featuring a variable star quilt pattern in
blooming flowers.
Timeframe:
Offered April – October, Tuesdays through Sundays.
Groups meet in the Arboretum Baker Exhibit Center Lobby.
Length: 1 hour.
Cost:
$25 per guide, up to 20 people, usual parking fees apply.

GUIDELINES

Please
contact the Arboretum at least three weeks ahead
to inquire about scheduling a guided tour, special program or
demonstration.

Parking
costs are in addition to program fees.
Parking charge is $6 per
personal vehicle, $25 per commercial vehicle and $45 per motor
coach/bus.

Payment
for parking must be made the day of the program, by check or cash
only, directly to the gatehouse.
Invoicing options do not
apply and the payment is handled separately from program payments.

Payment
for your program, via check, cash or credit card is due by the day of
the program to Cindy Blankenship,
facility manager. Please
make check payable to: The North Carolina Arboretum Society.
Invoicing arrangements may be made ahead of time.

wear appropriate shoes and outdoor dress for the weather in
order to enjoy outdoor activities.

Please notify
us of cancellations 48-hours prior to your program.
Garden tours are conducted year round, regardless of the
weather.
