Tour times:
Monday through Saturday:  10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Where:
Tours start at the Baker Exhibit Center with a 45-minute training session followed by a 2 to 21/2 hour tour through the grounds of the arboretum, stopping at the Operations Center, as well as stops to examine plants and take pictures.

Should be made in advance by calling 828-665-2492
Prepayment is required to make a reservation
so please have your credit card handy.

Pricing:
         $45 weekdays
         $55 weekends

NC Arboretum Society Members receive 10% off
 (Arboretum parking fee of $6 per vehicle is additional)

What to bring:  (Helmets are provided.)

Restrictions:
Segway's® can be safely enjoyed by all ages but a few requirements apply:
    • Riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    • Riders must be 14 years of age and older.
    • Capable of climbing a short flight of stairs unassisted.
    • Weigh between 80 and 250 lbs.
    • Pass the rider certification training (instruction session)
