For those who wish to dedicate a gift for a special purpose, the following guide will help you make a choice of the way you wish to honor a friend, family member of loved one. Each contribution is acknowledged. The donor is thanked and the Arboretum contacts the family member or the individual who has been remembered or recognized by a gift as well. |

| Tribute Trees | For Designation as
Honor/Memorials with a Commemorative Label. Our Director of
Horticulture and our Associate Director for Design have carefully
selected existing established trees at the Arboretum for this program. Tribute trees are available at the following donation levels:

| Policy on Cremated Ashes | Scattering of cremated ashes, in a symbolic gesture using no more than a pinch of ashes, is permitted upon prior agreement with the Director of Development or Development Assistant. Unless part of a memorial tree designation, we request that these ashes be scattered in the forested areas away from the cultivated gardens. | |
