The NC Arboretum Society
Individual, corporate and foundation gifts play a vital role in sustaining and advancing the Arboretum's mission and goals. The North Carolina Arboretum Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps support the Arboretum's mission to cultivate connections between people and plants through generous donations to programs such as the Membership Program, Annual Fund, Community Partners, Leadership Giving, endowments, naming opportunities, and Honor & Memorial Tributes.
Financial and in-kind contributions to The North Carolina Arboretum Society are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For people 70.5 years of age or older, gifts made directly from your IRA in 2009 are tax-free and can count toward your required minimum distribution.
