The Arboretum’s Adult Education programs may be your beginning to new connections & personal growth.

Classes & Experiences

 Learn with some of the region’s leading experts, covering a variety of disciplines and subject areas. 

Certificate of Merit Programs

The Arboretum offers the Blue Ridge Naturalist Certificate of Merit providing students with opportunities to deepen their knowledge and develop their expertise.

Continuing Education Programs

The Arboretum offers as many programs that qualify for CEUs as possible. Many of our previous programs were suspended due to COVID so we are making efforts to bring some of these back around.

Adult & Continuing Education Programs & Classes are supported by The North Carolina Arboretum Society, The University of North Carolina System, and Community Partners B.B. Barns Garden Center and Landscape Company, Faith Doyle, CFP Baird, Publix Super Markets Charities, and Stantec.
