Trade "Screen Time" for "Stream Time"

Saturday, May 17
1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Join us for an afternoon exploration of the fish, salamanders and insects that call Bent Creek home. Trout, salamanders and other aquatic animals depend upon healthy streams to survive. We'll use special tools such as dip nets to capture, identify and release a whole host of aquatic insects and other "creek critters".

Participants should be prepared to enter a knee-deep stream with footwear that can get wet (old tennis shoes or sandals with a back strap). The program includes a 33-45 minute round-trip hike to access the stream.

No registration is required. Meet in the Trellis Classroom at the first floor of the Education Center.
