The North Carolina Arboretum offers engaging indoor and outdoor exhibits focused around science, education, arts and culture. Rotating exhibitions at the Baker Exhibit Center provide interactive, enriching exhibits for all ages and interests. Exhibits featured during the school year are a great destination for field trips and youth groups.

The Education Center displays changing exhibits throughout the year by regional artists and craftsmen that highlight the region’s rich cultural and crafts heritage.

Located inside the Baker Exhibit Center and on the second floor gallery of the Education Center, the Arboretum rotates its art, science and educational exhibits three to four times a year.

Traveling Rental – Wicked Plants

The North Carolina Arboretum’s popular traveling exhibit, Wicked Plants, is inspired by author Amy Stewart’s best selling book Wicked Plants: The Weed that Killed Lincoln’s Mother and other Botanical Atrocities.
