Broom making

Demonstrating: Beginning with tying a knot, Peter will demonstrate the process of making a broom through its various stages—selecting handles, adding layers of broom corn, making the broom flat, and trimming the excess.
Selling: Long handled and non-handled brooms such as various types of turkey wing brooms, hawk’s tail, pot scrubbers, cake testers, and veggie brushes.

Fiber Art

member of the Asheville Area Arts Council Artist's Roundtable, the Asheville Quilt Guild and the Surface Design Association, and is co-founder of the WNC Fiber Arts Alliance. Meg is a fiber artist who uses a combination of hand-painted and hand-dyed fabrics and applique to create cloth landscapes.
