Wee Naturalist Program Returning

Wee Nats is BACK! After a brief hiatus, this family-favorite has returned to the Arboretum.
Geared towards aspiring naturalists aged 2-5, this program is designed for Wee Naturalists to safely explore the great outdoors through nature based activities, crafts, and guided outdoor exploration.

Registration for both sessions CLOSED

Our program is now SOLD OUT, and our waitlist is full for both sessions! Thank you for your interest, and we hope to see you in the Fall!

If you'd like to receive an email about a week before fall registration opens, please fill out the form below!

Join us this March as we root ourselves in nature and explore the world of plants. From seed to sprout, we will become familiar with characteristics of various plants, how they interact with natural ecosystems, and how they provide for us.

  • Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Younger siblings under two years of age as well as adults attend free of charge. To ensure a quality program, older siblings (above age five) are not permitted to attend.  Up to two adults and one child under 2 may attend each session free of charge with their registered 2-5 year old.
  • All participants should be dressed for an outdoor program and ready to explore!

Schedule

Session 1 will occur from March 10 through March 31 on Fridays, totaling 4 sessions.

Session 2 will occur from April 14 to May 12 on Fridays, totaling 5 sessions.

The classroom opens for exploration at 9:30 a.m., the program begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. and concludes at 11:00 a.m.
