Education Center

The annual exhibition features award-winning roses of every color and size. Experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about the selection, care, and history of roses. Educational programs will be offered throughout the weekend.

Program Schedule

Saturday, May 25 | 2 p.m.

  • “So you bought a rose, now what?” – Led by Judy Deutsch, consulting rosarian, visitors will learn about the ABCs of rose care.

Sunday, May 26 | 2 p.m.

  • “Roses for beginners” – Led by Jim Tucker, consulting rosarian, this class will explain the basics of planting and taking care of roses.

The Asheville-Blue Ridge Rose Society annual exhibition is free to attend; standard Arboretum parking fees apply

Crafty Hour: Rose Petal Mandala Workshop, Sunday, May 26 | 4 – 6 p.m.
