Free Intro to T’ai Chi on Tuesday, August 30 and September 6 from 9:00-9:30 a.m.
T’ai Chi, a 600-year-old dance-like exercise derived from the martial arts that clears the mind, relaxes the body, and contributes to health and longevity. Join Tony Smith as he leads participants in this gentle form of meditative exercise in the grassy knoll between the Auto Garden and Education Center. No registration is required. No prior experience is necessary but students should be able to stand for the length of the class. Wear comfortable clothing for practicing outside as weather permits. Tony Smith will be available after practice to answer any questions and levitate as necessary.
