Join the Arboretum and hundreds of gardens across the nation as we celebrate the positive impacts of gardens and arboreta in our communities during National Public Gardens Week, May 13 – 19. As part of the celebration, the Arboretum will “go green” with several family-friendly nature activities and programs, including a green-themed ArborEvening event on Thursday, May 16. In addition, the Arboretum is hosting a special MYGARDEN online fundraising campaign this week to raise funds for the Arboretum’s Youth Education programs and endowment.

- Monday, May 13 – National Public Gardens Week Kick-off: All evening lighting will be green starting on Monday, May 13, through Sunday, May 19. Flash-fundraising campaign for youth education officially begins.
- Tuesday, May 14 – Rocky Cove Railroad g-scale model train exhibit, 12 – 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 15 – Half-priced parking ($7 per vehicle)
- Thursday, May 16 – ArborEvenings with a special green twist, 6 – 9 p.m. **Special musical performance by David Stevenson**
- Friday, May 17 – Guided Garden Walk, starting at 10 a.m.
- Saturday, May 18 – Guided Trail Walk, starting at 1 p.m.
- Sunday, May 19 – Rocky Cove Railroad g-scale model train exhibit, 12 – 4 p.m. Last day to support the flash fundraising campaign for youth education.
