Aurora Studio & Gallery is an Asheville-based studio that provides support for self-discovery using visual arts for artists in recovery from behavioral health, addiction and homelessness. Currently, the studio is featuring an exhibit in the Arboretum’s Education Center gallery titled Rays of Dawn; Growth through Nature, which highlights the exploration of the ways nature provides solace and healing.
On Tuesday, September 6, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., the studio will host a free plein air painting demonstrations with Asheville Urban Landscape Painters. The event is free – standard parking fees still apply – and will be hosted outside in the Arboretum gardens.
