About the Pollinators
The Pollinators were founded in 2017 to support the financial sustainability, program growth and community outreach of The North Carolina Arboretum by building relationships, appreciation and participation through activities, events and unique experiences. Pollinators in nature, like bees, butterflies and birds, help flowering plants spread by transporting pollen. The Arboretum’s Pollinators will help the Arboretum increase its impact in the wider Western North Carolina area by spreading the good word about what the Arboretum does.
