Western North Carolina’s lush mountain forests are home to dozens of species of trees. In this online class, students will learn how to identify many of the area’s tree species based on their habitat preferences, individual characteristics, including leaves, and their uses both by humans and wildlife.
Participants in the online class may register for a separate field experience offered on Friday, July 29 or Saturday, July 30. (Registration link provided in the course site on Schoology.)
