ON-SITE | Thursday, July 25,  1pm – 4pm

Venomous snakes have always fascinated and caused great fear, but these creatures are normally quite gentle and shy unless provoked into defending themselves. Naturalist Carlton Burke will help us learn to separate fact from fiction abut the various species of venomous snakes found in North and South Carolina, what to do when encountering venomous snakes in the wild, and administering first aid for snakebites. In addition, participants will get to see many live examples of these venomous snakes up close to gain a better understanding and learn basic identification skills in this onsite class.
