Please Note: This is a request form and submission of this form does not guarantee a spot or spots on the indicated trail walk. Guest Service staff will review submissions and notify guests of their status by email.

Requests will be accepted until 5pm the night before each scheduled trail walk. Guests who do not pre-register before this deadline may sign up in-person at the Baker Information Desk on the date of the walk, if there are spots available.

Inquiries for these dates will be offered a space on our wait list.

  • Scheduled each Tuesday and Saturday from April 10-October 30, 2021.
  • There will be 9 guests and 1 guide on each trail walk. Registrations that include more than 4 guests must check in at least 30 minutes before the walk begins in order to keep their spots.
  • Terms and Conditions

    Please review the following policies and procedures.
  • -All participants must wear face coverings for the duration of the walk. Guests who are unwilling or unable to wear a face covering may not participate in guided trail walks at this time.

    -Guests should self-screen and must not participate in trail walks if they are aware that they have recently been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

    -Submission of this form is NOT a guarantee of a spot on the trail walk. Guest Service staff will respond to submissions with a registration confirmation or a notification that the requested date is unavailable.

    -Pre-registrations will be accepted until 5pm the night before each scheduled trail walk. After that, spots may be claimed in-person only.

    -Pre-registered guests holding 3 or fewer spots MUST check in at the Baker Information Desk at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of the trail walk for which they are registered. Guests who fail to do so will forfeit their spot.

    -Pre-registered guests holding 4 or more spots MUST check in at the Baker Information Desk at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the trail walk for which they are registered. Guests who fail to do so will forfeit their spot.

    -In the event that a trail walk is cancelled for any reason, The North Carolina Arboretum is not responsible for any costs- travel or otherwise- resulting from the cancellation of scheduled programming.
